For Littlemen, reinvention is not a sudden move but the result of years of experience, persistence and creative exploration. The Bath alternative rock band, led by singer and lyricist Nick, are preparing to unveil new material as part of their continuing journey, including music connected to “Evil On Both Sides” and a live recording from Real World Studios.
Nick’s background gives the band much of its emotional centre. Over more than 40 years, he has worked across the music industry as a touring musician, artist manager, publisher and studio operator. His lyrics reflect that long journey, often balancing personal experience with themes that speak to broader human struggles.
A major part of Nick’s story is his recovery and determination following a serious motorcycle accident at 17, which left him with a broken back and unable to walk. Rather than allowing the accident to define the limits of his life, he continued to build a music career driven by resilience and creative commitment. That spirit remains central to Littlemen’s work today.
Since changing lineup in 2022, Littlemen have moved away from their earlier Americana influences and into a more varied alternative rock sound. With Robert Brian contributing as drummer, co-writer, arranger and producer, and Mark Jones helping to build the melodic framework, the band’s current direction is both cohesive and exploratory. “Evil On Both Sides” marks another step in that ongoing transformation.
