From Tribute Act to Trailblazers: Löser’s Born Lösers EP Marks a Defiant New Era

They might have started as Cumbria’s premier Motörhead tribute, but Löser are leaving covers behind and blazing their own trail with Born Lösers, their long-awaited debut EP. Launched in tandem with their 2026 nationwide tour, this six-song release is already drawing excitement from classic rock die-hards and new fans alike.

Löser’s rapid ascent has been fuelled by frontman Daz Evilhate’s uncompromising vision. Having cut his teeth working backstage for legends like Prince and John Fogerty in LA, Evilhate now leads a band that marries this lived history with the raw power of the north’s brightest young musicians. In fact, the recent “Searching For Guest Artists” tour saw the band become a living, breathing experiment in performance, with new talents brought up on stage every night—making each gig a one-of-a-kind celebration of community and spontaneity.

The EP’s original tracks are nothing short of rallying cries. The anthemic title song “Born Lösers” is built for the sweat-soaked venues the band calls home, while “Good On Your Own” provides a rare message of affirmation in a genre more often known for rage than reassurance. The third original, “Karen’s Shield,” packs a punch with its socially charged narrative and punk-infused energy.

By fusing their hard-earned live reputation with a record that brims with real-life experience and musical muscle, Löser have firmly announced their intent: they’re not just keeping the flame of classic rock alive—they’re stoking it higher and keeping it relevant for a new era.
