Jeff Christie and Lorenzo Gabanizza: From Multiplatinum Success to Country Rock & Roll

Lorenzo Gabanizza and Jeff Christie have released their latest single “I don’t want to live without you” and it is clear that it is a quality track.   

The lead song was produced by an all-star team of artists and engineers, including Jeff Christie (multi-platinum artist, Carl Alan Award and Yvor Novello winner, and author of the smash 70’s hit “Yellow River”), Paul Fenton (drummer for Marc Bolan T Rex, Christie, Jethro Tull, Carmen), Darrell Nutt (Moody Blues John Lodge) drums, Kev Moore (Bass player for Christie, Saxon, Sweet), Pat Lyons (Dobro for Colter Wall), Hale White (Piano for Pam Tillis), Rusty Wright (Top Ten Billboard Charter, Nominated Best Guitarist of the Year on Vintage Guitar with Jeff Beck), Fortunate (Gospel Quartet from North Carolina), Richard Curran (Violin for Bert Jansch), John Heinrich (Barry Gibb, Percy Sledge) trumpet, Mike Casteel (Connie Francis, Sting) trumpet, Snake Davis (Paul McCartney) sax, Bruce Hoffmann (Dolly Parton) pedal steel, and finish mastering by Greg Calbi (Dylan, Lennon, Bowie etc) 63 Grammy winner and Steve Fallone (Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett), and mixed by Corey Moore.   

 

The style of music created by this team ranges from Country rock and Rock and Roll with some blues nuances. Lorenzo and Jeff have both lived around the world, with Lorenzo’s family traveling often. Lorenzo has strong connections with the US and British music, having been involved in the Obama campaign and a member of the RFK Human Rights. He also has ties to France and England for his writing and music.
